What Happens at a Kids’ Pamper Party?

If you’ve never booked one before, a children’s pamper party can feel like a bit of a mystery. What actually happens? What do the girls do for a couple of hours? And what’s included? Here’s exactly how a pamper party works at Little Miss Pamper, Manchester’s five-star children’s salon in Eccles.

Arriving at the salon

Every party is exclusive hire — the whole salon is yours, with no other groups sharing the space. The birthday girl and her parents are welcome to arrive five or ten minutes early to greet guests as they arrive. The first thing the girls do is slip into a gown and headband, ready to be pampered — it sets the tone straight away and they instantly feel like little VIPs.

Choosing their treatments

Depending on the package, each child picks a set number of treatments from our list. Favourites include:

• Nails and toes painted
• Glitter hair and hair styling
• Age-appropriate make-up and festival glitter
• Glitter tattoos, face gems and neon face paints
• A mini facial with a homemade face mask

Our trained pamper hosts work through the whole group so every child gets her turn — and while they wait, nobody is ever bored, because…

The sequin karaoke room

This is what makes us a little different from a come-to-you pamper party: we have our own sequin karaoke room. While some of the girls are having their treatments, the rest sing, dance and relax on the pink sofa. Sequin ceiling, sequin wall and pink mocktails on the treat table — it’s a picture-perfect setting and it keeps the whole party buzzing.

Treats and pink mocktails

Every party includes cupcakes, a treat table and our famous pink mocktails. You’re welcome to bring your own food too, and there’s a list of party extras — from sweet cones and party bags to a character visit, a light-up number or a selfie station — if you’d like to make the day extra special.

How long does it last?

Most parties run between one hour and two hours, depending on the package and the number of children. Our most popular option is the Little Miss Glitz package, but there’s everything from Besties for a smaller group to a full Tween 2 Teens spa.
